IberiaBank Releases No Fee Balance Transfer Credit Cards

IberiaBank released five new credit cards this week with no balance transfer fee and 0% APR for 6 months.

As the credit crunch intensifies, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to find a credit card that provides such flexible terms.

In fact, most credit card issuers now require a balance transfer fee which typically ranges between $5-$150, or 3% of the balance transfer amount.

In recent months, Discover got rid of their no fee balance transfer cards and began charging up to $75, and Citibank followed suit.

IberiaBank is offering a basic MasterCard and Visa credit card, as well as a Gold cash back rewards card for both Visa and MC, and a Platinum rewards card from Visa.

They all offer the no fee balance transfer with 0% APR for 6 months, which is really the selling point associated with the cards.

Another benefit is that you probably don’t have a credit card with IberiaBank, so transferring a balance from other major card issuers like Citi, Discover, or American Express should be permitted.
