No Fee Balance Transfer Launched by Discover

no fee

Discover has re-launched a “no fee balance transfer” for a limited period for new customers! They tend to do this early on each year, typically right after the new year.

And so once again, for a limited time, you can avoid that pesky balance transfer fee, which typically ranges from 3-5%.

On a $3,000 balance transfer, that’s a savings of $90-$150, so it’s certainly a good deal that should not be passed up if you’re currently paying hefty finance charges.

If you’re looking for a way to pay off credit card debt, a balance transfer is a great way to do so, as you avoid credit card finance charges entirely within the 0% APR introductory period.

To make the deal even sweeter, there’s no balance transfer fee, making it one of the few (if only) no fee balance transfer credit cards available at the moment.

Just make sure you complete the balance transfer with the application, or make sure it posts to your account by 7/10/2012 to avoid any balance transfer fees.

The Discover® More Card – No Balance Transfer Fee offers 0% introductory APR on balance transfers and purchases for 12 billing cycles from the date of account opening.

You’ll also earn 5% cashback bonuses when you shop within certain spending categories that change each quarter, and earn up to 1% cashback on every other purchase you make, once you spend $3,000. The cashback bonus is .25% on every purchase until your yearly spending reaches $3,000 dollars.

The no fee balance transfer card also carries no annual fee, so be sure to take advantage!

This offer has expired.
