# Credit Card Late Fees by Issuer

Credit card fees are rising all the time, to the point where Congress is finally stepping in to curtail what many feel are unfair practices. One such fee is the “late payment fee” credit card issuers slap down if you fail to pay your minimum payment by the due date.

Below is a list of credit card issuers and their corresponding late payment fees. If you’re looking for a credit card with a low late payment fee, this is a good place to start.

Keep in mind that fees do vary and are subject to change. Some credit cards actually have no late fees, such as the American Express Clear credit card.
