Chase Slate $75 Statement Bonus Offer

Chase Slate $75 Statement Bonus Offer

This week, Chase launched a new statement bonus associated with its popular Slate credit card.

If you make just $300 in qualifying transactions within the first three months from account opening, you’ll get a $75 statement credit.

This is essentially cash back for purchases you were going to make anyways.

And not only that, balance transfers count as “qualifying transactions,” so if you balance transfer at least $300 to the Slate credit card, you’ll get $75 back.

There is a 3% balance transfer fee with this offer, with a minimum charge of $5, which is the industry norm.

But in essence, this bonus makes any balance transfer up to $2,500 a no fee balance transfer, and anything below it a cash-back balance transfer. Pretty cool eh.

(Chase no fee balance transfer.)

It’s a particularly good deal, considering Chase Slate comes with 0% APR for up to 15 months on both balance transfers and new purchases (longest 0% APR credit cards).

In other words, this deal could land you the longest no fee 0% APR balance transfer out there at a time when people think these types of deals no longer exist.

But it’s unclear how long this promotion will last, so if you’re interested, act soon.

Update: Offer is now expired!

A Few Alternatives

This bonus offer is great for someone looking for a long 0% APR period on both balance transfers and purchases.

However, if you just want the most cash back possible, check out the Chase Sapphire cards or the Chase Freedom card.

You can earn up to $500 cash back with Sapphire, and $200 on the Freedom card. The only drawback is that they don’t come with 0% APR.

So prepare to start paying off your balance in full each month or face credit card finance charges.

Either way, there are some great cash back opportunities from Chase at the moment that shouldn’t be missed.
